How do you compete with traditional sandwich shops?
The question should be how do they compete with us!
First, our ingredients are fresh, crisp, and hand-sliced in each restaurant daily. Our sauces are made in-house and we pride ourselves on every meal we serve to our customers. In short, we put love into our food. Most others do not.
Second, we have created more than just delicious, toasted sandwiches. We have built an experience, unlike any other fast casual restaurant. Our level of service, store layout, and full-service bar makes us a destination people want to come and hang out at, not just pick up a sandwich and leave. Typically, once a customer eats at Cheba Hut they become a loyal customer and do not visit sub-par, boring, traditional sandwich shops again!
Does the cannabis theme affect the business?
We have been in business for 20 years, and pride ourselves on our food and customer service. The cannabis theme is not overt and in most cases, patrons will not even notice. It was important for us to build an inclusive brand for counterculture and traditional customers alike. Currently, we thrive in markets where medical and recreational cannabis is legal and in markets where it is not since that is not what has historically driven sales. That being said; we do believe our recent rise to the top of the unit economic food chain may in part be due to the “Green wave” sweeping the country.
What is the cost to open a Cheba sandwich shop franchise?
The total initial investment to open one of our Cheba Hut sub franchises is between $463,500–$746,500.

How much can I make?
We get high….profits. But unfortunately those buzzkills in government regulation won’t let us legally disclose these numbers outside of our FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document). To obtain this document and review all the juicy details, we will first need you to complete a Confidential Questionnaire.
How do I find real estate for my new Cheba store?

What kind of support is provided?
Cheba offers Franchise Owners the following types of support:

Are There Ongoing Fees Paid?
Yes, Franchise Owners in the Cheba system pay a monthly royalty equal to 6% (that’s low!) of gross sales. The fee entitles you to continued use of the Cheba name and trademarks, access to our operating systems, new product development, ongoing business consulting and other benefits the come along with being a Franchise Owner in the Cheba organization.
How long will it take to get my first Cheba Hut open?
There are a number of variables here, including type of store, the length of the lease negotiation process and permitting processes, but on average it takes about 4-8 months from the date of franchise awarded to doors open.
